Correspondence
Contact CAELUM
Serious correspondence is welcome — from priests, chaplains, canonists, theologians, academics, aerospace and national-security professionals, engineers, scientists, students, and families.
CAELUM has no dedicated mailbox or staffed office yet, so correspondence is routed personally through its founder, Mateo Portelli.
Interim Contact
Until CAELUM has a mailbox of its own, correspondence goes directly to Mateo Portelli:
This is Mateo Portelli’s professional address at Martello & Pieto Consulting LLC, used temporarily for CAELUM correspondence. It indicates no fiscal sponsorship, legal representation, ownership, endorsement, or institutional relationship between CAELUM and Martello & Pieto Consulting LLC.

Sensitive Information
Do not transmit classified information, controlled unclassified information, export-controlled technical data, operational details, proprietary information, protected health information, personnel records, privileged communications, sacramental-confessional material, security vulnerabilities, private third-party information, or information restricted by military, governmental, professional, ecclesial, employment, or contractual obligations.
The same caution applies whether correspondence is sent through a website link or directly by email. Email is not a secure portal for controlled or protected information.
Correspondents are responsible for obtaining any institutional, professional, legal, military, governmental, ecclesial, or contractual permission required before sharing information.
When in doubt, describe the general topic without transmitting the underlying sensitive information.
How Correspondence Is Handled
This page has no submission form and stores nothing. Selecting an email link opens your own email application; the message is handled by your provider and the recipient’s.
Messages may be retained as reasonably necessary to respond and keep records. Sensitive information should not be sent.
Serious Correspondence Is Welcome
A thoughtful message may help identify a pastoral concern, refine a research question, or better understand the people CAELUM seeks to serve. Honest counsel is welcome, including respectful criticism offered in good faith.
